Help: Can't access my admin login page

    Hi all,

    As I mentioned above, I am unable to access my blog’s admin login page. Login address(wp-admin) only shows a black page(nothing but only blank white). Also when I type my blog’s address in firefox, it doesn’t shows up; again same blank page appears. But sometimes blog appears in firefox. In internet explorer, I can see blog every time I typed in the address. But can’t access the admin login page in internet explorer as well.

    The problem started(i think) when I tried to automatically ad ad-code in my posts. So I made a few changes in funcation.php. Here is the link which I followed to make these changes,

    Thanks for your reply. yes, it shows the login page but when I enters my login details and hit enter again the same “blank white page”.

    Have you cleared your cookies and cache in your browsers?

    Yes, as I told above I also tried internet explorer and I can’t access login page in that browser as well.

    Do you have cPanel access?

    I use filezilla. I think both do a similar job?

    blank white pages often needs your web hosts interaction to get fixed.

    With Filezilla, you can access your functions.php file.

    – access your site by Filezilla
    – go to your wordpress files to wp-content > themes > functions.php
    – download the functions.php file to your computer
    – edit the ad-code that you inserted out of that file in a plain text editor (such as Notepad)
    – save and upload back to your site

    I already removed that code but the problem persists. Sorry for not mentioning this earlier.

    @babalakha: So what I should do to get it fixed?

    Can Base 64 code cause blank white pages? See here at line 457?

    Sorry, I did not decode it and see if it is used for some genuine purpose or for malicious purpose.

    Having exhausted possibilities, you may have to contact your host, as babalakha suggested.

    Problem solved by re-installing theme. Thanks for everyone’s help.

    i’ve been having a similar problem. Im completely new to wordpress and website making and I can’t access my wordpress admin page at all. It keeps saying that Google Chrome couldn’t find it. https://theislandlife.biz/wp-admin is what i was told to use but it doesnt work. ive also tried a few variations that i saw other people were suggested to try and none of them work. Im not sure what im doing wrong or did i miss a step or something? Please help me!
