Help: cannot create a static page

  • hello my helpful friends.

    Im trying to create a static page for my sites front page…simply through settings-reading- and front page. I am lost because i have never had this roblem before it was always simple…now if i try to switch from “page of post” my site wont open and i get this in the browser

    The page isn’t redirecting properly

    Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
