    That’s what i get when i go to my blog:”

    Error establishing a database connection

    This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    * Are you sure that the database server is running?

    If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.”

    Plz tell me what to do?

  • Please, a link to your blog.
    Second, did you answer YES to the 3 questions ?
    Third, what did you do before it happens, did you add a plugin, post a new article, made something with your blog?

    and yes i have the correct username and password and typed the correct hostname but not sure the database server is running, and can’t reach the site from which i got my blog which is asslema.com ..and before that i just posted a message answering someone, that’s all..

    Are you hosted on Yahoo? I am, and having a lot of trouble staying connected this morning. Can’t update my entries or add a new category without it giving the “Error establishing a database connection” page.

    Who is your host? Are you sure you use “localhost” to connect?

    i don’t know if i’m hosted on yahoo and i ‘m not sur i’m using localhost but i’ll try to download mysql and apache and then i’ll ask for more advice if you d’on’t mind cause i’ don’t really master all that stuf !… and thank you for your help ??

    yeah, that’s why i came back to thank you for your help,:) do you understand french?

    I understand Spanish so French can be worked out. :>)
