Help! Blank page after updating to 2.6.5

hmmm…I see a blog

I am having the exact same problem although I can see your blog. Mine is at https://www.lipomassage.co.uk

It also goes blank when I am inside the admin control panel. I have to refresh a few times before I see the actual page.

The thing is I have another blog https://baronne.mouton.co.uk which is hosted on the same servers but is version 2.6.3 – and it doesn’t have the same problems….

Any ideas?

I don’t know, but I have the same problem:

I’ve tried tracing where it goes. Gets as far as wp-settings.php do_action(‘init’);

but doesn’t seem to return from there. not sure what/when/where this call is defined. I wish they’d put a “Grep” tool inside these http panel thingys!

Given I upgraded because my old version magically broke, and my service provider seems to have upgraded a bunch of stuff under the hood I’m not convinced it’s entirely wordpress’ fault, or perhaps a php/wordpress un-kosher-ism…

check your root folder and index.php permissions

Nah that was me placing prints down the chain.

they should be gone now and back to a boring old blank page ??

yes, I see the blank page now.
If you can access your admin dashboard, try to update the permalinks. Also, read this section about what can cause a blank page or 500 error.

well… it seems my Service Provider has fixed my issue. They weren’t real overwhelming with info but said it was some sort of php/code issue (which could mean anything really)
