Help: Aurtor profile page no longer working

Ok guys.

I know I messed this up. I’m hoping someone could help.

Problem:
My author page is no longer working “error 404”

Profile page link:
https://www.lifewithtech.net/author/tfraley/

Cause:
I was making a new page and didn’t realise the page i made has the same URL as my author page. I created a page called author the another sub called tfraley. to my surprise it messed things up. I quickly deleted the two pages. However now the link does not work at all. All other users work fine but mine. side note mine is admin account.

So if I goto a post then click on the name it has same link as abouve but does not work.

If i view other profiles links look the same just user name is diffrent

Tried:
? I do have file backups from yesterday I tried to replace the following files with no luck. author.php inside theme and author-template insldie wp-include

Please help a bit stumped as to who it no longer works.
