Can anyone tell me how to get out of this one. I’ve just attempted to upgrade to 2.5.1 and I got this 6 times across the screen
Warning: main() [function.main]: Unable to access /home/httpd/vhosts/simplyyurts.co.uk/httpdocs/blog/wp-includes/kses.php in /home/httpd/vhosts/simplyyurts.co.uk/httpdocs/blog/wp-settings.php on line 260

I’ve clearly deleted something but how do I get it back?

    Thanks in advance..

  • I guess the question is what version did you upgrade from? I had that problem in an upgrade I did for a friend too. He went from 2.0 to 2.5.1 and it caused a problem.

I deleted the admin and includes folders, and then uploaded the 2.5 admin and includes folders. that solved the problem. the other thing I would check is your settings, make sure your settings are correct. one upgrade screwed up my settings under general look at blog url addresses and make sure the info is accurate.

    HI there

    Thanks for the reply.

It was from 2.5 to 2.5.1 but turned out to be a permissions issue with my hosting co.

I just reloaded the files and now it’s all working again – phew…

    Cheers
