For this go to Archive page title setting (Theme Dashboard >> appearance >> customize >> Archive page title >> Category) and blank category text field,

And, is it possible to make resizible slider image as in old verion, instead too big in newone?

Sorry for this, In the new version of the quality theme, we have given a changing block section feature in our pro version.

For change slider image height you can paste the following css code in custom css filed (Theme Dashboard >> appearance >> customize >> header setting >> custom css filed)

#slider-carousel .item
{
height: 600px !important;
}

Change slider image height according to your need.
