• Hi guys,

I would really appreciate much needed help and advice, so please share your knowledge with me ??

I am pretty new to WP so I am struggling a bit, but I am loving it and wont to stay with it.

I am making a website and I need many functions on it. It is aimed at particular community , so functions I need on it are :

    1. Business directory (free & paid listing)
    2. Forum
    3. Classifieds (free & paid – I have Classipress theme if that helps)
    4. Events (customers to be able to advertise and list them)
    5. Tickets sales (customers to sell tickets through us)
    6. Free & paid membership
    7. Paid advertising banners and other spaces
    8. ability for customers to access all of the above with one account
    9. Ability for us to run it all from one panel
    10. Auctions (ability for customers to list their items)
    11. Ability for customers to create profiles

What would be the best way to go about it?

    Thank you in advance ??

Multisite won’t do that. Multiple separate sites.

Thanks for that…..so how do I organize ONE membership for customers to be able to access all of it?

    Multisite shares three things:

    1) A common user base
    2) A common theme base
    3) A common plugin base

That means the available plugins, themes, and users to add to each site are the same.

Organizing one ‘membership’ depends on what you mean by that ?? Do you want to organize people for each site, or do you just want to manage registrations to the network?

I would suggest you get a test location and install Multisite. Poke around and SEE what it is before you make a plan of how you want to use it.
