Help a Permalinks Newbie

Hi,

So I recently changed my permalinks structure from whatever the default was to /archives/%postname%/ and now I can’t find my pages! I only have 2 pages About & Hide-and-seek (which i set up to see if I could find on my site, & so far I haven’t found it)

My site is https://www.wilytrader.com

The first mistake I notice is that when I click on the link ‘About Site’ it takes me to WilyTrader.com/About instead of WilyTrader.com/Archives/About

But even when I go to WilyTrader.com/Archives/About I get a 404 Page Not Found error. What am I doing wrong? The page slug is About, so it should work right?

As I said, I am a complete begginner when it comes to WordPress. I don’t know anything about .htaccess other than when I turned it on I couldn’t access any pages to my site (and this was with permissions set to 666) So I deleted the file & am trying to figure out what to do.

Any help would be appreciated.
