Hey, really need some help here!

Our website https://marwickmarketing.com shows on a few computers but not everyone’s.

We’ve tested computers which haven’t yet seen our website and some see it and others just see a blank white screen.

I can still see the website and even log into the back end, so I don’t think it’s the “white screen of death”

As a business it’s hurting us already and we’ve only noticed the white screen in the last 48 hours!!

  • “Doing the drill” to troubleshoot problems begins with disabling all plugins, then switching to a default WordPress theme such as Twenty Twelve if the problem still exists. If you do those things and still have the problem, I would likely do a manual re-installation of WordPress…and all of that can be done in about an hour or so.

You may need to gather some more info before you decide on a course of action. It might/could/possibly be a browser-specific or network-specific anomaly. Ask yourself if you can identify any common denominators among the machines that can’t view the site:

    – Same browser? If so, same version of that browser? Do different versions of the same browser behave differently?

    – Same OS? Example: Only happens on XP, WIN7, WIN8, OSX, etc..?

    – Are the computers that can’t view the site, on a different network or sub-net than the ones that can?

    – Are these symptoms happening solely within a corporate network, or has the symptom been verified from several different locations outside of your own network, and if so, what do those machines have in common?

Just a footnote – WP version 3.4.2 is no longer supported and should be considered unsafe to use under normal circumstances.

[edit] I can view your site with no problem using FF 24.0 and IE 10 from the machine I’m using at the moment.. (WIN 7)
