Is the site slow because of the server hosting it or because you have so much content on your home page?

player.swf and this image took the longest to load out of all of your files, of all of your blog posts on the home page.

Basically you have too much stuff on the home page.

what can I do about player.swf?

You can disable plugins to explore which is generating it.
