HELP!!!!!!

I have configured multisite and added my second site. It shows under the SuperAdmin menu for sites but when I go to the dashboard site it’s not showing under sites for me to start working on it. Should my “path” under the site info be the same as the new domain or should it be my “original” site name? Does the new domain have to have a subdirectory URL (www.myoriginaldomain.com/new domain) because I listed the domain and the path under the “site” as just https://www.newdomain.com…..I’m confused now. PLEASE HELP!
