    Sorry, accidently pressed enter.

I need dire help getting this blog to look somewhat like my website. My website is at https://www.televerhey.com. I’m just a college kid learning the ropes of HTML and this website is for my family. A big demand has been for a blogging system.. but it doesnt match the website and there seems to be problems with passwords when registering. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated!

From your website address, I couldn’t really figure out how to answer your questions.

    – the look of WP is based on the theme you use. There are a lot of themes available for download, many of which you can modify. You might look for a 3-column theme since your site above looks as though it is set up with 3 columns.
    – Some themes might be good for you “out of the box” but you might want to modify them. To modify themes (and modify the look and function of your blog), you’ll need some knowledge of CSS and PHP.
    – For password and registration problems, perhaps include a more concise description of the problem in another post. Include the error messages, relevant code, and version of WP you’re using so that the members here can help.

    Good luck!

Well it seems when people register they are getting sent their login and e-mail address and not their password. They have to request a lost password in order for them to get their password.

Also, could you give me a name of a three column theme? I dont know where to look and I couldnt find any here.

    Thanks!

Here’s a link to some themes – search or Google to find more.

Not sure about the registration problem – maybe try posting that in the troubleshooting forum.

    Best wishes ??

(sometimes it’s helpful to look around only on the frontpage of this forum)

I also recommend you check out this article on taking your First Steps with WordPress to help you get started on all of this new stuff.
