Hello MageeWp. can i update theme without losing the data?

i just got an recent update from 1.5.7 to 1.5.9. so can i update it directly.. wont i loose the website contents? im new to this..
if i have to do it without loosing contents how can i update it..
and where can i view the changelog of version.:) thanks
