Height not adjustable

Hi,
A am using WordPress 3.3.3. The height is not adjustable. I have tried with following tags but didn’t work:
[pdf height=”1000px”] Link to PDF [/pdf]
[pdf height=”1000em”] Link to PDF [/pdf]
However, I could adjust the width.
