Heeeeeelp! Current Menu items color

Hi all,

I really hope there is a wordpress whiz out there who could help me.

I’m using a drop down menu with childpages on a site that I’m working on, but I’m having problems with the css.

Basically, when you hover over the menu you will see drop downs appear and when you hover over the child pages in the drop downs, the background changes to brown and the text to white…. This is exactly how I want it to behave.

…. but when you click on one of the child pages in the drop down, all the pages within it change to white.

I do want the parent page at the top to change to white, but I don’t want all of the child pages changing to white (I’d like them to remain black).

Can anyone work out how I can do this?
