Hebrew character is corrupted in editor

  • I wrote a new post that contains only Hebrew letters. After saving draft or publishing, the post appears in the text editor with one of the Hebrew letters missing and other characters appear instead.
    Done that several times, always one letter changes into an unwanted character.
    This happens when I use WPBakery & WP built-in editor, both on visual mode and text editor mode.

    Add this code:

    define(‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf8’);

    to your config.php

    If it doesn’t work then try a language switcher plugin that contain the hebrew language
