Heavy server load: account may be closed

    The server admin is warning me that the upper limit is 30 and that my account will be closed unless I reduce the load to within that.

    A search here shows many posts with the same problem – and all were unanswered. This is not helpful.

    I would appreciate advice on what I can do in identifying the problem.

    Have you tried the Throttle plugin? I had a lot of problems a few months ago with my server coming under pressure with problems traced back to my site, but the Throttle plugin fixed these and there hasn’t been a problem since
