Heavy CSS code on every WP site pg, is that OK?
-
Hello again,
SO I’ve noticed upon checking ‘View Source’ code for each of my site pages, that ec_ css code shows up on each page even though I have no products active yet. While I might understand some code, it seems to be a Lot of code or code heavy… and this is even more-so, since I’ve added a ton of CSS code changes/tweaks to the admin CSS code area. I had no idea if I added code where I was prompted to, that it would show on every page like it does.I am not code savvy, and have been learning as I go all these years and using Mozilla/firefox Inspect Element to help me figure out what code is attached to what elements in my site.
I thought, hmm, maybe I can try to add that code into some other css area for the cart so that it doesn’t seem to appear on Every page the way that it does (as I am not sure if having that much code on every page, is making the site heavier? or maybe doing anything to eat any of my ram in someway on the server side? Again, I am not code savvy, but seeing So much code on each page got me a little worried.
(Let me add, the actual CSS Code is not Visable on each page, but in the View Source code aspect).
I could not figure out a place to stick all the CSS code into the actual cart files. I tried a couple different trial and error places within my cpanel filemanager and WP Easycart files, but nothing seemed to work. When looking at the code, everything seemed to be nicely sorted into categories, and I had so many CSS changes to fonts/colors/borders etc, that I wasn’t sure if I should just place them into corresponding areas (which would have been Way more work on my end if I do, but would if it meant I could clean up all the code added to every page). Other cart plugins I’ve tried, didn’t add as much CSS to every page in the site, so that has me worried, especially since looking into CPU load etc.
Anyway, if there is any reassurance as to having SO much code on each page is ok and won’t weigh heavily on the site in some way, and or if you have advice as to where else I can place the CSS code into other areas of my filemanager WP-easycart files instead of lumping them all in that one area of the EC admin Advanced options CSS.
As a side note, I have the purchased product.
Thanks in advance.oh and in case it is needed to view source code for my work in progress site (that at this very moment my WP-EC admin is deactivated but the WP-EC cart is active) eyescreamjewelry.com
