Heatmap not showing anything

  • Hi,

    we run a page AB-Test tracking a click on a CTA. While we see tracked clicks on the results overview page, the heatmaps don’t show any clicks at all. Am I missing anything?

    Well, there’s two things that might not be working as expected here:

    (a) Clicks aren’t tracked correctly
    (b) Clicks aren’t properly rendered in the heatmap results page

    Can you please share the link to the page you’re currently testing? I’d like to take a look at it and see if it’s (a)… If you don’t want to share the URL publicly, send us an email: support dot testing at nelio software dot com.

    I track clicks on links with the class .nelio1. I can see conversions on the results page. Tracking is working fine, I guess. I just can’t see any clicks on the heatmaps.

    Hi!

    Indeed, the plugin is not tracking the heatmap. I think the problem is you’re using the free plan of our plugin. If you subscribe to one of our plans, our plugin will be able to track heatmap data for each of your variants, which is, I believe, what you’re interested in.

    I’m not sure if running a heatmap test and an A/B test at the same time on the same page would work as expected…

    Does this make sense?
