Heartbeat Control

check under the “Admin” section

I don’t have those options. I only have the following, under Admin…

Posts revisions number
Disable Autosave
Disable all comments

try wiping cache

No luck

I have the same issue, cleared cache but I do no have those options for heartbeat under admin.

When “Disabling All Comments” option is enabled it hides the heartbeat controls.

Hey Jody. Where are we at with all the issues? I’m seeing you being active on Facebook, but we’re not getting updates for your plugin. Losing patience.

I realize this is a FREE plugin, but if FB is more important than this plugin…I’m out.

This is not about anything being more important. There are only so many hours available to me and I am very proactive with all the stuff I do. I have an update going out tomorrow but it’s not fully tested so I’ve not pushed it yet. I think I’ve fixed it but recreating has been a massive problem as it’s so isolated

@ryanllogan as a freelancer myself, I know it’s frustrating to deal with buggy plugins, but like you said, it’s free, so nothing is to be expected – zilch. And also as a freelancer, I feel downtime is important to productivity, and no one should be stalked and judged for it. If Facebook is your thing, enjoy it, Mr. Plugin Author.

And by the way, I haven’t seen a plugin this awesome in a loooong time. And updates and feature requests are fast, comparatively speaking. I’ve had much slower responses from PAID plugins or apps.

Facebook for me is a tool, I actively engage in support groups to help people, I don’t use it personally at all, haven’t done for years now and yes, ultimately, by helping for free in the groups, it brings work in, which ultimately allows to do these repo plugins for free, and yes, I do try and be as pro-active as I can, but I also need to work on paid stuff and divide my time as I see fit.

Hey Jody. This issue has popped back up for Version 1.3.21. It appears to be an issue on sites where the Disable All Comments option was not previously set.
