Heartbeat Control

  • Hi guys

    Ive tried to find the answer to this but cant.

    Simple question, does disabling/limiting heartbeat have any speed benefit for visitors or will only logged in admins see the benefit?

    It does not affect visitors.

    Thanks Steve,

    I’m having performance issues with a theme called Woopress from 8Theme.

    They’re support guy blamed a few plugins as the cause, Rev Slider, VC and VC Addons – yet these are the plugins that come bundled with the theme.

    He then recommended the Heartbeat plugin – but as you say, this would have done nothing.
