    Please note, anywhere you see 8217 in here, it actually should be the full HTML code with &# in front. I had to remove that or else it would get changed to the actual character.

    If I share a post to twitter that has an apostrophe in it, I get the HTML code for it. For example, if I have the word “it’s” in my title, when the share to twitter window comes up, that word is displayed as “it8217;s”. If I then click on the Tweet button, it shows up on twitter as “it8217;s”. If I manually replace the HTML code with an apostrophe, it works. I don’t want my users to have to go through this extra step.

    This also happens with double quotes, and I suspect some other punctuation marks.

    @edkniz,

    just a heads up – I’ve been looking into this, but I still haven’t found out why exactly it’s happening. Still need to do some testing, but once I figure it out, will release an update to address this, most likely.

    Thanks,
    Cristian.
