Headlines on pages are H2

I’m using Colorpress a child theme of Gradiant.

I understand that pages should generally use H1 headlines in order to optimize for SEO. But this theme seems to enforce H2. Is there any way to circumvent this (I wish not to create my own child theme, this is a bit too complicated for me)?
