Hi there, I have been struggling for a long time with Paragraphs and Heading tags, and when to use which. Until now, I have used Heading for making text large or changing font, but I understand that theyhelp with accessibility and can boost my search engine rankings.

I have been using Headings instead of paragraphs for text, just to be able to select the font I want. This also reflects on my site, where Heading tags and Paragraphs are used randomly. Therefore I’m considering using Pre-Designed Template and Blocks just to get the structure and design right.

    1. How many of the <h1> to <h6> tags shoud be used on a page for good SEO results, and is it only on the Frontpage where this is important?

    2. Should a page always contain a h1 tag for good SEO, and the font size then ajusted accordingly as the size is obiosly to big for many pages especially on mobile?

    3. Why can fonts not be changed in the block editor for paragraphs, and how do I then change is?

Here are som suggestions or whiches for Heading blocks:

4.To be able to copy a style of a Heading, or globally be able to set the font and font style for all text in all selected blocks.

    5. Setting different text size for desktop and mobile in the preview window.

    Thanks!

    Hi @carsten-lund,

    1. This would be a question for an SEO expert, however, it is know that there should only be one H1 tag .
    2. I believe so, but it’s best to ask an SEO expert as well.
    3. Paragraph and Heading Blocks are both from WordPress. GenerateBlocks Headline Blocks’ fonts can be modified. They can also be set to h1, h2,h3, h4, h5, h6, div or paragraphs.
    4. This can be done in GB Pro.
    5. This can be done in GB free, just change the responsive view.

    Hope this clarifies!

Hi @fernandoazarcon2, thanks for your fast reponse!

    Please clarify this

GenerateBlocks Headline Blocks’ fonts can be modified. They can also be set to h1, h2,h3, h4, h5, h6, div or paragraphs.

What do you mean that GenerateBlocks Headline Blocks can be modified or set to paragraphs?

I know that paragraphs is from WordPress, but can you tell me what the right way of changing font size and style of a pargraph would be, to match my headings?

    Thank you

Here’s an article showing what I’m referring to: https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/headline-overview/#element

As shown, you can turn it into a Paragraph Headline Block.

If you use GP Premium, a good way to change WP Paragraph Blocks fonts would be through the Typography Module.
