Heading of a form is not displayed; form appears despite deactivation

    Hi,

    I have created a form with a heading. At first it was displayed without any problems, but now the heading no longer appears, only the rest of the form. I then deactivated the form, but it still appears on the page. Only when I deactivate the MailPoet plugin completely does the form disappear. I have also tried deactivating all other plugins and themes, unfortunately without any improvement. I even uninstalled MailPoet completely and reinstalled it, but the form appears again immediately, unfortunately still without the heading. I also tried to create a new form, but despite deactivating it, the old form appears and the new one does not. I have no idea what else I can try, so please help me.

    Hi @josenone,

    This does sound frustrating! I’m sorry to hear about the form title issue.

    Under MailPoet > Forms, when you click the affected form, do you see the title shown there? As in, is it on the actual form, but not showing up on the site? Or is it missing now from the form altogether?

    If the title has accidentally been deleted from the form, you can use the “+” icon at the top of the form page to insert a new block. Insert a Heading block and re-add your title.

    If that doesn’t work to restore the title, then if you are still interested in deleting MailPoet completely and then starting over from scratch, there is an option to do this under MailPoet > Settings on the “Advanced” tab.

    You can click the link here to “Reinstall from scratch” and it will both re-install the plugin **and delete all your existing data.** This should definitely wipe the form from your database and allow you to create a new one from scratch.

    yes, the headline was shown in the form, but didn’t appear on the site.

    Thanks for the hint on “reinstall from scratch”. This has fixed the problem. At least for now…
