Header/Top Nav Spacing TwentyEleven

Hello everyone. I am having issues with the top nav. The dark bar between the nav and header should not be there. I have tried to adjust each one independently to no avail.

I am using chrome tool kit and dreamweaver. Chrome keeps pointing towards the the parent theme in the area of side nav/body. Obviously don’t want to edit parent. So very frustrating to move 4px.

Any help is mucho appreciated.
