header/slider help on posts/pages

Hope you guys can help. Keep in mind I am a css rookie so please excuse my lack of knowledge :o)

So here is what I want to be able to do. I have installed a slider on twenty-ten. I like it alot, however I want to be able to post and link the pictures “without the slider showing up”.So basically be able to just have my site. I am using the easing slider and have confirmed there is no setting on it to allow me to do this.

For now, I am looking for the “easiest way” to accomplish this, even if it’s on a post by post basis for now.
