Headers and footers in Lighthouse theme

I’m using WP Lighthouse theme and have noticed that for some reason that no any header and footer plugins work in this theme. Is there a reason why?
Ive put google analytics in there and that seems to work but when I try to put google tag manager and facebook messager codes they dont show up in the page source code or show up on the website at all. Is this a problem with the plugin or the theme?
