headers already sent

i have to correct:
all plugins disabled, tried twentyten and twentyeleven:

The plugin generated 3 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

bulk smush is working regardless of errors.

smush it now produces:

Hello there @sashaman, could you please try deleting the closing PHP tag ?> that exists on the last line of the json.php file and let me know if that fixes the issue you’re having?

hmmmm….
Could you please check i there are any spaces before the opening <?php tag in the beginning of the wp-smushit.php file?
Closing PHP tags should be omitted everywhere in your installation, perhaps it’s somewhere else?
Could you please check your wp-config.php file too?
If there are a spaces, a blank line or anything else before the opening <?php tag in the beginning of the file delete them (of course without deleting the opening <?php tag).
If there is a closing ?> tag at the end of it the delete it as well.

The same applies to all php files in your instalation, particulartly TwentyTwelve’s functions.php file in case you’ve added something there.

wp-smushit.php was UTF-8
JSON.php was ANSI -> saved UTF-8 encoded

?? doesnt work either

ok thats weird,
i redownloaded, unzipped again, same error
then i installed it via admin area and now no complaints about headers …

now it keeps saying Bad response from Smush.it ??
and bulking it says already smushed but honestly, i doubt

Is this on a localhost? Could you please provide some more info about the server you’re using?
