    Hello,
I’m presently using the free version of Themezee’s theme Smartline, soon to go pro, but in the interim:
The headline and bullet-list properties are not showing as programmed in this theme’s core properties.
    – I have tried every headline code for the “Experiences and references” article (H1, H2, H3, H4…) but the size stays the same.
    – the list bullet points are hollow circles rather than solid squares

I’ve cleaned up the html code to nothing but the bare essentials, and this is still the case.
    – is using the “div” organizer a problem?
    – is using the “Content Views” plugin to structure posts within pages perhaps creating a conflict?

I’d be most grateful for help on this issue because the headlines and texts are too small…

    Many thanks in advance !

    All the best,

    Denise

    Hi Denise,

Please note that Smartline is one of our older themes and uses a CSS reset, which means it removes default styling for headings and lists, except in the content of your posts.

That means if you add HTML on other places, it can end up without styling. No way around that other than switching to one of our newer themes.

    Best,
    Thomas

    Hello Thomas,
    Thank you for your reply.
Actually the examples shown ARE in post contents. I’ve moved around a few posts, and noticed that in all posts EXCEPT those embedded in the Front Page, the default CSS works fine. In other words, the posts organized in content grids on these pages show up as the HTML code intends:

However, on the Home Page all of the body content text is flattened.

Is there some way to put an up-date patch on the Home Page template to fix what is flattening the text?

Now, I’m not necessarily a Smartline fanatic, as I’ve written before I really globally like all of the Themezee templates and intend to go Pro as soon as I know how many other freelancers like me would like to share a license, but… it would be nice to stick to Smartline if possible.

Obviously one can work around templates with plug-ins and layout solutions to get a desired result, but among other features I like Smartline’s possibility of 6 menu locations.

All the best, mit Viele Grü?e ??

    Hello Thomas,

Thank you very much for taking the time to try looking at the site and for your reply.

I’ve had to urgently transfer all web services including registration of my domain name to a new service provider and as a result “bite the bullet” and accept being offline for about a week. ??

I’ll come back to you when things are up and running again.

    Thanks again,

    All the best,

    Denise
