header.php appears to not be updating from editor

I tried to add a Wikipedia share button to my site using the editor to modify the header.php file of the twenty eleven theme. The button did not display as expected, I deleted the code and updated the header.php file but the image remains on my blog. I cleared my browser cache and refreshed the page but I am still seeing the share button. Has this code been copied to another php file? What do I need to do to remove the share button.

I inserted the following code above the search box code in the header.php file. Clicked update, viewed it and decided to rollback, deleted the code, updated the file, but the share button is still there.
