header X-Pingback not removed

    Hi Zabatonni,

    Thanks for the report, but this is not something that will be addressed from the plugin.

    The header will be added only for posts where you have the “Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page” option enabled. That is why using the pings_open filter removes it.

    If an user wants to prevent the pingback feature from being used in posts the first thing that should do is not enable that option.

    But I don’t want to override the user’s decision if he wants to have pingbacks enabled in a post for any reason.
