Header with Links

  • Quite new to this wordpress stuff and have an issue I want some help with.

    I have a basic website on the go where I have a header with links below it forming a drop down menu. You can see the site here: https://www.giants-history.com

    I’ve recently started using the wordpress and been impressed with it and wish to maybe run the site through wordpress as a blog but keep the same header. Is it possible and or easy to incorperate that header and menu and use it for my wordpress blog?

    My blog would look something like this: https://www.giants-history.com/index.php with the new header. I realise the size of it and that I would also need to ajust the width of the blog to make it match.

    But what I’m curious about, is this easy enough to do, or would it take a lot of coding?

    Ok so by playing around a little I’ve realised that by taking the code that makes my heading and drop down menu work on my website and putting it into the header theme editor page it does work on my site. The problem is that it appears at the bottom of the site and not at the top.. could anyone tell me where I’m going wrong with this and where I should be putting it into the code?
