We can’t able to replicate this issue at our end. We have tested this functionality at our end and it’s working fine.

Can you please provide the screenshot and link for the issue?

look at the x sign – It is so far from the logo on desktop

look at the x sign – It is below the logo on mobile

I want the logo to be on the right and all other elements to start from the left.

Another issue is that the logo container is much wider than the logo image.

Also main menu goes down when header widgets are enabled.

Please follow the steps below to achieve the expected design.

    1. Go to Appearance -> Customizer -> Header -> Header Widget and set Widgets Position to above header or below header instead of In Header

    2. 1. Go to Appearance -> Customizer -> Header -> Primary Header and set Header Layout to “Horizontal”

Tried it, In this case widgets are above or below the header.
I want them to be at the same alignment as logo and menu

The design you are expecting is not possible with the default settings, you have to add custom CSS to achieve the desired design. You can either keep the widget above or below the header.
