is that what purge cache means

    (@lornalily)

here is the clearing cache menu but I think you must want me to do it on my actual site somewhere.

    Obliterate the following items from:

    Clear browsing history

    Clear download history

Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data

    Empty the cache

    Clear saved passwords

    Clear saved Autofill form data

    Clear data from hosted apps

    Deauthorize content licenses

*with the plugin is turned off I don’t think I can access it…

I’m not familiar with it, but yes, with it on, try “empty the cache”

Hey I turned it all back on and cleared the cache in the web browsers history area.

I’m not sure about that W3 plugin. I will ask the forum for that plugin how to clear it and let you know when I hear back..

Thanks a lot for trying to sort it.

    will update soon…i hope

    ??

Do you have the same issue in the default theme with ALL plugins deactivated?

    Thread Starter lornalily

    (@lornalily)

    Of course thanks!

    Well Wpyogi

I got a hold of W3 finally and they said it wasn’t them. That’s about all the progress I managed to get done…

Should I try switching off the theme again and clearing cache again?

    Thanks
    lorna

p.s by the way how do I search for an old post within a forum without being taken away from the forum?

    Thread Starter lornalily

    (@lornalily)

I’ll deactivate the all plugins again and let you know

    Thread Starter lornalily

    (@lornalily)

Yes, with all plugins deactivated it is still happening….

can you check on your browser though as even though i cleared my cache and deleted my browsing history I don’t trust I’ve done it properly.

    thanks

I switched back on the plugins as my media library stopped working. hope you had a chance to check on your end before I reactivated it all. cheers. let me know if you need me to do it again.

I don’t even see the problem on your site – do you? Where?

    Thread Starter lornalily

    (@lornalily)

have a look up at the tab in the browser on this link
    https://feedingkids.tv/blog/healthy-banana-bread/

Yes, and this is the same MAJOR problem with the header.php file on that page that we talked about earlier. You need to deactivate ALL plugins and switch to the twentytwelve theme and leave it there until we get this sorted.

    Thread Starter lornalily

    (@lornalily)

Yep I tried that, but remember even with the twenty twelve them active it was doing it…

that’s where the clear the cache issue came in, for some reason my computer wasn’t clearing…

I will turn it off again and activate the twentlytwelve and do you mind checking if you see the problem on your computer?

Sorry to be going in circles….

OK so it’s all switched to twentytwelve and all plugins off and cache cleared – but it’s still doing it on my end…

Also how long will I leave it like that?

    thanks Yogi

It’s not changed in any browser for me. It’s not about your computer – these changes need to be made on the server – is that not what you are doing?

Do you have FTP access to your site?
