Header Text color defaulting

    Trying to customize Button Theme. I keep changing the Header Text color in the customize section and it keeps changing back to orange. How do I fix this?

    Were you able to resolve this issue on your end? I’m currently seeing that your site’s title is a dark purple:

    Yes, I did. Took a while but found the correct css code to fix it. Thank you.

    I’m glad you were able to find CSS to fix the issue.

    I haven’t been able to replicate trouble with changing the Header Text Colour via the Customizer on my end.

    It’s possible the issue you had was caused by a plugin conflict. If you’d like to test, try disabling your plugins one by one and then check to see if the option then works.

    I didn’t have the option to customize CSS in the the theme’s customizer, so I used a CSS plug in, but regardless, I came to realize, even without the code, the color of my header title can be customized on every browser but Chrome, where the header text is the default orange, but it’s dark gray as intended on other browsers like explorer.

    I’m glad you were able to resolve this!

    The option of adding custom CSS doesn’t appear in the Customizer for sites that are hosted outside of WordPress.com, and so you were right to use a custom CSS plugin instead. ??
