header slideshow exists but doesn't show up!

First of all I want to thank you for this great plugin. Since september till last week it worked just fine! But now suddenly this week I noticed that the header slideshow disappeared. Since 2 days I’ve been searching for what’s going wrong; I didn’t change anything exept put posts on my website -blog.
The strange thing is that the slideshow still exist because when I go in the main wordpress menu to “customize” and then “header” (this is where you get the screen with on the left side : theme-site title-colors-layout-header image (in my case “no image”) – etc…), I see the slideshow, but when I view the site online I only see empty white space instead of the header slideshow.
Is this due to an upgrade either of my wordpress or header slideshow plugin?
please help me !
