    Hi,

I’m using your plugin on a few sites and absolutely love it!

I’m just struggling a bit trying to get the table to look right and function right with header rows rotated 90 degrees… I realise this isn’t really your problem but thought I’d see if you have any experience of getting it to work properly as I am experiencing (what seems to me like) some odd behaviour and I can’t quite figure it out.

    Here’s the page I’m working on: https://www.thehiphopchipshop.com/allergens-dietary-requirements/

I seem to get the sorting arrows only loading on refresh, and weird cell alignments…

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Henry

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Unfortunately, rotating the table headers is very tricky, and I have yet to see a solution that works reliably across browers, themes, etc. ??
I can only suggest that you play around with what you have, maybe with the help of the browser’s developer tools.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

Thank you so much for your rapid response. I’ve decided to abandon the idea since it seems more trouble than it’s worth!

I’ve now got another, smaller problem: the sorting function doesn’t seem to behave correctly in all browsers…

Chrome and Safari: fine except my table header celss are initally the wrong size on the dietary requirements table (I wonder if this is a JS issue due to having two tables on one page?)

Firefox: sorting doesn’t seem to be working at all.

I wonder if you’ve experienced either of these issues?

    Many thanks,

    Henry

    Hi Henry,

yeah, getting the rotation to work on all browser is very difficult ??

About the sorting: This seems to be related to the JS being loaded via that RocketScript extension. That’s not compatible here, unfortunately.

    Regards,
    Tobias
