I linked my blog to my website and the header of the website also became the header of the blog. That would be great if it looked good, but it is severely warped and unacceptable. However on wp-admin it still says that I’m using the theme that I had chosen, and changing the theme doesn’t have any effect.

Any help would be most appreciated. The blog is https://www.careerclarity.com.au/blog

No, all I did was correct the broken link from my webpage. It looks fine where it has uploaded, but looks warped on the blog.

Do you know how I can get rid of it?

why can’t you use the original header that came with the theme?
I guess I’m not sure exactly what you want to achieve

    Samboll, thanks for your help.

Since you pointed out where the business site header was sitting, I realised that if I change to a completely different theme I’ll probably solve the problem. So that’s what I have done.

    Thank you so much. Jenni

Another quick question: I could actually use the business header if I could remove the automatic inclusion of my site’s name on the header. The name is already included in the header so this creates a duplication which looks strange.

Can you tell me how to remove the automatic title on the header.

    Many thanks,
    Jenni

the easy/cheating way would be to leave the Blog Title blank in
    admin – Settings
but to do it correctly, post your theme’s header.php at wordpress.pastebin.ca and come back here with the link and we’ll do it right

Thanks so much. I’ll give the cheating method a try and if it doesn’t give satisfaction I’ll work out how to post it to wordpress pastbin.
