Hi! I am a newbie in website building and I am encountering some problems.

FIRST, I lost all the contents of header.php in editor page after I inserted the meta name and clicked UPDATE (This is the step I was following in a tutorial to verify my website with Google for me to be able to use my Gmail account to send email).

SECOND- Although the verification was successful, I noticed that I am not able to load Elementor when I wanted to edit my pages. And when I checked the header.php editor page, that is when I realized that it all blank.

Was inserting the meta name in the header caused this problem? I searched for discussions about header.php and I saw none. I wonder if this is a common problem or I just messed up when I inserted the meta name.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I am using the latest version and having the same issues. You make changes and it simply doesn’t change on the website page. Today I went onto my website and items have simply disappeared. Both php and memory at maximum.

The support offered from the developer is VERY slow.

It is disappointing as my company websites were looking good.

Hi. I’ve been using Elementor Pro frequently for the past few months. I had a similar problem and that is that loading any page I appeared blank when editing with elementor. The solution was this:

Elementor -> Settings -> Advanced -> Switch Editor Loader Methods -> Enable

I hope I’ve come up with the solution.
    Greetings

Hi! Thanks for your suggestion @oviedo93. I already tried that, it did not work on my issue but I read that it worked on others.

I also read in another forum to copy the code in the head.php of another website. I happened to be using OCEANWP. At that time, no one yet can send me a link of header.php of OCEANWP, so I tried changing my theme to Cleaning Lite and fortunately Elementor worked. So I keep my theme as Cleaning Lite.

    I hope this helps.

It can happen that the use of the WordPress editor is problematic, it is not specific to OceanWP (this also happens with Twenty Seventeen), check that PHP 7 (7.2) is activated on your hosting. I always advise going through FTP to edit files.
You have to reinstall the theme but previously export your settings in Theme panel -> Import/Export. You can import them after reinstallation.
