    Hello ?? I’ve just added the plugin, mainly to make the header transparent as well as modifying its size, width, etc… However most options, and thoses specifically don’t apply.

    Any idea why that might be?

    Hi,

    You are using a child theme (climatesig-theme).

    Have you tried the options when you have an un-modified Twenty Twenty theme activated instead of using a child theme?

    Please confirm an exact option that isn’t working for you so we can test accordingly here.

    Thank you.

    I tried switching back to the original Twenty-twenty theme but it doesn’t seem to make it work either. I’m trying specifically to use “Transparent header” and “Featured image header” but checking both or either one isn’t applied on the preview or published version. A dev also mentioned we don’t have a custom header file.

    Thx for the help!

    “Transparent Header” definitely works. When you have set a background colour in “Customizer – Colours – Background Colour” the option prevents the site title from having a white background set on pages and posts.

    “Featured Image Header” also works by showing the featured image of a page or post behind the page / post title.

    We’ve just tested on a fresh install on WordPress v6.3.2 with Twenty Twenty v2.3 and Options for Twenty Twenty v1.6.3

    ?A dev also mentioned we don’t have a custom header file.

    Can you please explain what you mean by this?

    Ok, from what I understand (or was explained to me) the top banner image can’t fall behind the header because the banner image isn’t being occluded by the header at all, so it doesn’t matter whether the header is transparent or not – the banner image won’t show behind it. If the header of the site vertically before the page content then the plugin can’t make the header transparent over the image banner (the banner being part of the page content). Right?

    the top banner image can’t fall behind the header

    By “top banner image” are you referring to this image?

    If so, this is a Cover Block by the looks of it and I believe you can do what you require by changing the “Customizer – Nav Options – Sticky Desktop Menu” option to “Sticky Menu Bar”.

    You could then use this CSS in “Customizer – Additional CSS” to make the header transparent …

    #site-header {
    background-color: transparent;
    }

    Kind regards,

    Oliver

    Yep, it’s this one.

    Thanks for the heads-up. I’m not using enough of the plugin tools to go for premium for now but I’ll definitely use your step-by-step explanation it if I do.
    Thanks again for the clear help ??

    Ah, OK, I’m afraid we cannot discuss premium options on this forum as it goes against WordPress forum guidelines. Sorry.

    I’ll mark this as “resolved”.
