Hi, this is my staging website under construction and I would like to insert the header that I have created with the Elementor Header & Footer Builder on all pages. It is set to show on all pages but is not showing on any page and I believe it has something to do with the message that appears under Appearance/editor: Navigation menu has been removed or is currently unavailable. How can I enable the header please? The message already appeared before installing the plugin. Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Herman,

Thanks for your response and apologies for the delay in replying.

I have created a new menu and can see it in the Elementor editor (just like the previous one I had created), but when publishing, it does not show on the website.

    Please see screenshot attached.

    Hi @bsfherman,

I am attaching a screenshot of how mine is set up.https://paste.pics/QFN39

    And another one: https://paste.pics/QFN3H

This is the current URL: https://staging.birthingwithoutfear.com/elementor-hf/bwf-menu/

And I named the menu BWF menu.

    Thanks,

    Jana

Also to remind you that the headers were there before I installed your plugin, so maybe I ticked something that prevents the menu from showing up?

    Hi @janiwalkabout,

Thanks for sharing the screenshots and your site URL.

Pretty sure the Header is not showing up because the page is using the Elementor Canvas Page Layout. Pleass try using Default instead. Refer to this screenshot, please.

However, if Elementor Canvas is your preferred Page Layout, then please tick the Enable Layout for Elementor Canvas Template.

Please let us know how you go.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

    Hi @bsfherman,

Thanks for sharing your insights. How do I get to the “Single Post Settings” option please?

I did not consciously choose Elementor Canvas layout, thanks for the info ??

    Hi?@bsfherman,

Here are screenshots of 2 settings:

    https://paste.pics/QGM99

When I say “header”, what I mean is the navigation menu. By now I am pretty confused, also because there is a navigation menu displaying in the footer of for example this page: https://staging.birthingwithoutfear.com but this has not been created with the Header and Footer Builder, but before installing the plugin.

If you can assist clear the confusion, I would be very grateful! Thank you!

    Hi @janiwalkabout,

I check your site above. The Header, also the Menu, are created using this plugin. As for the Footer, it’s the default Footer of the theme you are using, which is Astra.

Why do you have that Footer? Simple. It’s because you don’t have the custom Footer created using this plugin. And it is the expected thing. If we take a look at the screenshot you shared above, the Footer you created using this plugin is still saved as Draft.

I hope that clarifies and clears any confusion you may have.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

    Hi @bsfherman,

Thank you. After my last question, I managed to create the menu and I changed themes to Astra, which came with the Astra footer. I forgot to let you know.

    For now, all clear ??

    Thanks again for your support.

    Hi again @bsfherman,

Another question related to the same plugin:

I just created a new header (which I want to use exclusively for the home page). After publishing it, I am getting an email with error notification, see screenshot: https://paste.pics/QR9V8

Also, only the latest header that I created appears in the list of available headers, the other 3 seem to have disappeared, see here: https://paste.pics/QR9VV

It says “published (4)”, but they are nowhere to be seen.

    I′d appreciate assistance very much.

    Jana

    Hello Avinash @avi1020p,

Thank you for your quick response.

    The update resolved the issue.

Now I just need to know how to center the navigation menu underneath the homepage banner, see here: https://paste.pics/QRBPC

If that is not related to the plugin, don`t worry, I will find out ??

    Thanks again,

    Jana
