Header not displaying in Internet Explorer

  • The two logos that I placed in the header of my site aren’t appearing in Internet Explorer. They appear okay in Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc. I’ve done many searches through the WordPress forum and through Google and found similar problems, but none of the suggested fixes have helped. So far, I’ve tried the following suggestions:

    Set a background color for the div that contains the logo. Someone mentioned this related to an IE bug.

    Changed the color mode of the images from CMYK to RGB.

    Changed the images to GIFs instead of JPGs, but then they disappeared from the site in Firefox too!

    Does anyone have any suggestions?
