Hi there!

I’m having trouble getting the header and footer to appear when not logged in. I’ve checked in the “editor” section that they are set to display on desktop, tablet and mobile, as well as making sure display conditions are correct so they are always visible for all website visitors. Beyond this I’ve also made sure that it is set to display from the editor of each page. I’ve also tried a handful of troubleshooting steps (eg. plugins off, different theme, regenerate assets, etc). But still no luck getting the header or footer to appear.

When looking at the console, I see that there are no <header></header> tags, so it seems to not even be called.

Just curious if you have any ideas?

Also in the midst of discovering and trying to resolve the issue I did get this error, if it happens to be of any use:

After going in a deep dive I see that someone else had a similar issue here:

A following update, I’ve since completely deleted the site and and did a full fresh install of the theme. The issue still occurs, no header and footer unless logged in, even with all the correct conditions. Seems to point towards something to do with the pattern/template-part calls as in my previous update.

I am not able to replicate the issue on my installation. Please follow the below steps to fix the issue.
- Turn off file generation and regenerate assets from the Spectra dashboard
- Clear all the caches including the server-side cache.
