Header/ logo Problem

  • Hi,

    I have uploaded a header image and also a logo aswell, but having uploaded and saved the changes, the header shows up on my website but the logo doesn’t and I have no idea why.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • I have the same issue. I uploaded a header but I see the small JPG file logo rather than my header image. Can you please help me?

    Hello to both of you,
    Just to make sure I understand – your intent is to have an image in the header with the logo on top of it, as in overlayed?

    If so, then the header image needs to be inserted by making it the ‘background-image’ in the CSS for the header, and the logo would be dealt with in the normal way it would be applied through Appearance/Logo Upload. As always, you should be making these modifications in a child-theme.

    As usual, file-editing recommendations are given without even checking out the available theme options.

    @alexcjackson05, @probablynogod, the theme includes two separate options:
    – a header image, definable via Appearance > Header, which is displayed on the entire header area of the site (the height and width of this area are configurable in the theme options, Appearance > Parabola Settings > Header Settngs)

    – a logo image, selectable in Appearance > Parabola Settings > Header Settings; just remember to also set the “Site Header” option to “Logo” to make this logo image visible.

    As a brand new Parabola user (and not-so-new WordPress user), I appreciate the feedback and support that members provide in these forums. It would be nice if negativity could be avoided when providing what are otherwise helpful comments.

    Kudos to Cryout Creations for creating such a flexible, customizable, and easy-to-use theme!

    I go by the rule that not all answers are good answers. I’m not nominating any particular reply here, but I do see a lot of generic replies given out that are often not useful or downright opposite to the correct solution. Sometimes silence *is* golden.

    Imagine this being transposed into medicine – somebody might give out drug prescriptions based on the simple fact that they know how to perform CPR… ??

    @thezedt, I’m completely onboard with what you’re saying, and I appreciate your. My comment, which wasn’t meant to offend, was meant to gently suggest that the way a comment or reply is framed can make all the difference between building a bridge, or creating a wall for communications purposes.

    Again, I appreciate your expertise and how much you share it with members!

    Fortunately helping out on WordPress is not like giving out drug prescriptions. Helpers don’t have to know what they are doing and have experience in the field before they try to help.

    Helpers on www.remarpro.com are scarce. Waiting for the perfect answer doesn’t seem feasible.

    Of course some answers are harmful, but I don’t see that here.

    i did all what you explained but CUSTOM LOGO is still not showing.
