header issue – which php file kills the ‘Header and Image Color’ editor

Greetings,

I found this fix once before and now it’s disappeared into the ether. A php file exists which, when deleted, kills off the Header and Image color editor, which in the process, also removes the block of color and text which is now sitting on top of my lovely logo.
