I just updated my obsolete theme to Twenty TwentyOne. Unlike my previous theme, Twenty TwentyOne doesn’t seem to have an option for a header/banner. Your plugin was recommended, so I tried it. But when I set the header it appeared on top of the stuff that was there (site title, links to pages, etc.).

How might I set it right so the header becomes just the banner image on top of everything else? The banner image is 1000×224 pixels.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Your website seems to be running weaver-ii-pro theme, not Twenty Twenty-One. Do you have a development site that we can see?

Are you talking about making the header sticky? If so, that’s an option in our premium theme which means that due to WordPress forum guidelines, I’m afraid we cannot talk about it in this forum.

    Sorry!

Thanks for your reply. I returned my site to Weaver II Pro temporarily because a close friend of the family passed away today and I really needed to create a blog post and send out a notification and Twenty TwentyOne was looking skeletal so far. I would like to update to a non-obsolete theme again though as soon as possible.

I’m just talking about having a fixed banner at top. It appears the Twenty Ten theme, which I use for a non-profit teaching group I participate in, lets you just add a header at top. See hibikinokai.org. I’m surprised that basic functionality disappeared!

Anyway, I’ll look things over more. Thanks.

No problem. Sorry to hear of your loss.
