• I have a problem with using flash in my header. Every time I go to reload a page or navigate to a new page my flash header has to reload, which gives me a few seconds of blank screen.

Is there a solution for loading the header only once and not every time a user reloads a page or navigates to a new page? I also notice this happening when I have a swf ad file as well. Thanks!

  • Nope. You must use frames then, or iFrames. Or maybe just have the flash header on the start page and use images for the rest of the site. your users might thank you for it ??

I’m here for the same question…

Unfortunately the site isn’t mine, I know that Flash Headers are not the best solution, but I would appreciate if someone has any idea on how to solve that.

Just to refresh: I have an swf file in my header.php which opens up with an animation, and I don’t want this animation to repeat when a new post or page is loaded.

Anyone knows a solution? Maybe using Flashvars (I don’t know how to use them properly) or something similar?

I got the same problem. Someone find a fix?
