• Hi,

How easy is it to have a different header image on each page of a WordPress site?

I notice that the header image, in the templates I’ve examined, is inserted as a background image in the main style sheet.

What’s the easiest way to achieve that please? – a undique header image for each page of a site.

    Thanks,

    Jo

  • I’ve read about it before, but basically using some type of IF statement related to the page’s Category is usually the way to go. The scripting would determine which category is showing & display whichever image you chose for that category.

Of course, if you’re just looking for a random image, I’m sure there are plugins for that or you could find a randomizer script & just update your header file.

    So you’re talking about a javascript routine . . . right???
